Dear Children,

We are living in the age of developments. New ideas are leading to new discoveries and innovations everyday. Either it is medical science, technology, communication or education – a face lift can be noticed everywhere. At a glance this rapid growth seems to be assuring us of a better and more comfortable life each day but along with all these comforts and luxuries this developing age has also pushed us towards a mad rush where everybody appears to be racing for more and more materialistic things. T.V. and media have added to this attitude by showing on screen only shiny and shimmering side of life. The result is that the life style has completely changed. Values, affection relationships – all these have taken a back seat. Youngsters have become too ambitious and impatient. They want all the luxuries at any cost. When they don’t get what they want or if they have to face failure at any step they immediately sink in the ocean of depression and disappointment.

But …….. actually this is not the real life.
Life is full of ups and downs. Just like light and shadow joyous moments are followed by the melancholy ones and tears are again followed by smiles. This is a natural rotation and is an integral part of each and every one’s life. The most important thing to learn is to fight with emotions and maintain a calm mind during the happiest as well as saddest moments of our life. Life is often called as a game and those who have learnt to be sportive throughout this game certainly win at the end.

In today’s world where there is an ocean of uncertainty all around, it becomes more important to learn to struggle through the waves of success and failure. Success doesn’t mean that there is nothing beyond it and failure does not mean that everything has ended. Each new morn comes with unleashed opportunities. Advent of the new session 2011-12 has also opened for you the door to endless possibilities. It is required on your part to identify these opportunities and make optimum use of them. With true and sincere efforts everything is possible and even the worst things can be turned right. So…… never lose hope, never put an end to your creativity and never give a pause to your efforts. Whenever you feel dull or disappointed, remember –

Success is failure, turned inside out

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt

And you can never tell how close you are

It may be near when it seems so far

So stick to the fight when you are hardest hit

It is when things seem worst that you must not quit

My best wishes and blessings have been with each one of you and will always remain with you in future also.
